Cash plan insurance is a popular benefit giving employees’ pots’ of money for every day health costs. It can be taken in place of or alongside a Private Medical policy. The cost is based on the number of employees and the category of cover you choose for them.

To claim, members pay for their treatment and upload a receipt or invoice (showing their name) either via the insurers’ mobile app or online and the money is usually paid back to them within 2 working days.

Pre existing conditions are covered and there’s no requirement for pre authorisation for treatment. The app will also update the totals left in each ‘pot’ in real time so members know how much they have left in each.

You can include a Private Medical excess protector which will pay the excess if a member is making on their private medical insurance. It’s also handy in keeping down claims costs under Private Medical Insurance as the first port of call for treatment.
